BARTLETT, Otis - Putnam

-- Roachdale, Otis Egbert Bartlett, 71, a resident of the Barnard community most of his life died suddenly in the garden at his home Friday evening at 6 o'clock. Born Feb 9, 1881 in Boone County, he was the son of John and Mattie Hargan Bartlett. He married Lora Perkins on Sept 30, 1930. He was a former member of the IOOF in Barnard. Surviving are the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Morphew of Barnard, two sons, Donald and Eugene both of Indianapolis and two sisters, Mrs. Coride Newman of Indianapolis and Mrs. Frances Batman of Roachdale and two grandchildren. Funeral arragnements are incomplete. The Chastain Funeral Home is in charge. – thanks muches to mw
